And then we have a list of movies which were directed for the Indian kids, which by the way is a really good step and that were achieved by the Hollywood movie makers ages ago, and a list of those that impressed some and another list of “borers”. The movie that I watched recently was that of “thora pyar thora magic” and I was confused as to whom the movie was targeted-mothers would have been trying to shut the eyes off their kids at Ameesha Patel’s skin shows and adults would have been reduced to tears with the unnecessary cartoons thrown in. I had much preferred “Taare Zamin Par” where it catered to all kinds of audiences. But of course whom am I trying to compare with-Taare Zamin Par is and will be in the minds of the audience for long.
